Straightforward expertise from a trusted professional who puts your needs first.
Traditional pool service companies often prioritize volume over quality, leading to rushed visits and high technician turnover that disrupts the continuity of your pool's care. Similarly, pool stores frequently lack consistency, leaving you to rely on a revolving door of staff who may favor corporate training scripts over actual hands-on field experience. By consolidating your guidance into a single, expert point of contact, you ensure that the person advising you actually understands the unique "snowflake" nature of your specific pool.

Free chemical/supply delivered with no minimums
No more trips to the pool store to get talked into buying more than you actually need. Because pool stores often provide free water testing, they may use the results to recommend an extensive list of specialized "problem-solver" products that, while helpful in extreme cases, are often non-essential for a fundamentally balanced pool. However, pool stores are the ideal place to buy pool chemicals. Big box pool chemicals are typically less effective because they contain lower concentrations of active ingredients and higher amounts of cheap fillers, which can cloud your water and gum up your equipment. Big box stores often treat pool chemicals as seasonal items that may sit in a hot distribution center for months before hitting the shelf. Pool stores move their inventory quickly and usually store it in climate-controlled environments, ensuring you're getting "fresh" chemicals at their peak strength.

Happy Filter = Happy Pool
Many pool owners struggle to maintain a consistent cleaning schedule for their cartridge filters/DE grids because the process is inherently labor-intensive and messy, requiring the system to be shut down, disassembled, and meticulously hosed out. Because it is such a chore, many owners fall into the trap of "waiting until next weekend." This delay causes the pump to run longer and harder to compensate for poor flow, which ironically wastes even more time and money in the long run as they eventually have to battle the cloudy water or algae blooms that result from poor filtration.
OTS Pool Assist will clean your Cartridge Filters ($75) or DE Grids ($95) The average cost for a pro is around $150 for Cartridges or $195 for DE Grids

Salt Cells are great..until they're not
A salt cell requires periodic cleaning primarily because the process of electrolysis—which turns salt into chlorine—naturally creates a high-pH environment inside the cell that causes calcium to solidify on the plates. A calcified cell causes low/no chlorine production and/or false readings on the cell. Inspecting and cleaning your salt cell on a regular basis will help getting ahead of problems before they happen.
OTS Pool Assist will clean your Salt Cell for $75. The average cost for a pro is around $150 for a standalone service.

The "Workhorse" of your Pool
In Scottsdale, a pool vacuum is critical because it is the primary defense against the desert's constant dust, sand, and fine silt that traditional filtration and skimming cannot capture alone. Reduced Chemical Costs: By physically removing contaminants before they break down, a vacuum helps maintain water balance, meaning you spend less on expensive chlorine and muriatic acid. Improved Circulation: Many automatic vacuums aid in moving water at the bottom of the pool, preventing "dead spots" where heat and bacteria tend to concentrate. So it's critical to have your vacuum working at optimal performance.
OTS Pool Assist will troubleshoot and/or repair your vacuum for you for a $25 Service Call plus parts (if needed)
An affordable Service Call by a pro
In the Scottsdale and greater Phoenix area, a typical service call fee (often referred to as a diagnostic fee or trip charge) by a professional swimming pool company ranges from $90 to $180, with $130 being a very common average.
OTS Pool Assist Service Calls start at $25 per visit. Common service calls are vacuum repair, water testing, pump issues, storm cleanup, vacation coverage, etc.
If there's an issue with the pool, ideally it is corrected through the Remote Consulate but sometimes the pool owner doesn't feel comfortable doing the advised corrections.
Peace of mind when you're gone
When you go on vacation or just have to leave town for whatever reason, it's nice to know you have everything covered on the homefront. A lot of people only have a pool service to begin with due to coverage when there're not home and don't want to burden neighbors or family/friends.
OTS Pool Assist has you covered at $25 per trip. Includes all the necessary routine weekly maintenance like emptying filter baskets, brushing, netting, using your chemicals on-site. If chemical(s) needed not on-site there will be an additional cost. You'll get a picture notification with a Time Stamp letting you know the pool has been serviced.
Don't wait until it's too late
In Scottsdale, a heavy monsoon or desert storm can violently disrupt a pool's ecosystem in a matter of minutes, making immediate service essential. High winds blast fine desert dust, organic debris, and phosphorus-rich soil into the water, which instantly depletes the chlorine residual and creates a breeding ground for rapid algae blooms in the summer heat. Furthermore, torrential rains can skew the water’s pH and total alkalinity, while flooding can introduce phosphates that exhaust your sanitizer. Promptly cleaning the skimmer baskets, backwashing or cleaning the filter to relieve intense pump strain, and aggressively re-balancing the chemistry prevents the pool from "turning green"—saving you from a much more expensive, multi-day chemical overhaul or a full pool drain.
OTS Pool Assist has you covered when you just can't get to it in time. This would be a $25 Service Call plus any chemicals needed if not already on-site.
